| A third generation Hemet native, and a second generation engineer, Matt falls into the role of firm leader naturally. Matt obtained his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles in 1984 and continued on with graduate courses in water resources engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He obtained his California registration in 1987 and carries the number of 41836.
Matt's professional career began with Neste, Brudin and Stone, Inc., rising through the ranks as surveyor, engineer, project manager and marketing director. He became the assistant regional manager of the Temecula office in 1991.
Matt founded Engineering Resources in the summer of 1996. With over 20 years' experience, Mr. Brudin has a broad knowledge in various disciplines including site development, streets and roads, grading and drainage and flood control facilities. Matt serves as District Engineer for Lake Hemet Municipal Water District and is a member of the American Public Works Association and the Floodplain Management Association. Matt is married with two teenage sons. He is an avid mountain biker, enjoys camping, water sports and off-roading.
