Ron Worthington, P.E., Principal

Known as the “Engineer's Engineer,” Ron serves Engineering Resources as a Vice President, project manager and QA/QC manager. His nearly 40 year's experiences include service to Eastern Municipal Water District, Neste, Brudin and Stone, Inc., and NBS/Lowry, Inc. Ron started with Engineering Resources in September 1996.

Ron obtained his B.S. in Civil Engineering in 1973 and his M.S. in Environmental Engineering from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona. He completed Management Development Programs, Sections I and II, from the University of Southern California Extension in Los Angeles and received a Certificate of Completion for attending a Value Engineering Workshop from the U. S. General Services Administration and U. S. Environmental Protection Agency in 1980. Ron is a registered civil engineer in California No. 27395 and in Arizona No. 21158.

Mr. Worthington's professional career has focused on the planning and design aspects of water, wastewater and reclaimed water systems. He has prepared facility master plans and project reports, established design criteria and prepared construction drawings, detailed specifications and Engineer's estimates. He serves as Construction Manager on various projects in responsible charge of shop drawing reviews, on-site inspections, resident engineering, warranty interpretation, and on-going operations consultation. Ron has been in responsible charge of the planning and design of collection, conventional and advanced wastewater treatment, and reclamation and disposal facilities. He currently serves as District Engineer for West Valley Water District.

Ron is a member of the American Water Works Association, California Society of Professional Engineers, California Water Environment Association, National Society of Professional Engineers, Water Environment Federation, Tau Beta Pi (Honor Society).

Ron resides in Hemet with his wife Margo, has two grown sons and two grandchildren.
